Urban reflections
Reflections-
sharp edges of urbanity,
jutting out, blending
mockingly into mirror-eyes,
as they rush round,
throwing behind sheets of
pulsating life in untitled
envelopes, to mechanics.
Facades, all without poetry,
straight grey constellations,
lacking the tremulous
timidity
of wintery dawns, in my
backyard of the isles, long ago.

sheets of life in untitled envelopes…wow great line….
I love your use of language. Beautifully written 🙂
Lovely…Facades, all without poetry,
straight grey constellations,
lacking the tremulous
timidity
of wintery dawns, in my
backyard of the isles, long ago……great work!
Thank you, Susie. Glad to hear from you here.
Gorgeous, the letters “in untitled envelopes”, the enigmatic mechanics. With “lacking the tremulous timidity” I felt as if you were missing the twinkling of the stars.
Thank you, Kathy!!

Beautiful…
Thanks, Tess, Jo!
