Tanka

TANKA:

Tell me tales of love.
Curled in your warm arms all night,
breathing whispers wild:
dark-skinned dusk, opiate need,
volatile on nervous lips.

~~*~~

Leaves in moon-mist mourn
your departure, Beloved.
Salty tear-drops fall
fusing life and death, subtly,
in endless cycles. Longing.

~~*~~

You write me whispers,
honey-sweet on golden wings
of fairytales true.
Like fantasises tremulous,
parting veils of shy night-shades.
