they drop a gasp, and
river ripples light up

there is no star, i

hold fluorescence in my eyes to
lure you to my heart

share my breathe

warm the troposphere’s chill
flooding noctilucent gaps
there is frost on my mirror tonight

and i desperately seek your face.

  1. There is an unusual–but highly effective all the same–combination of gentleness and palpable longing in this piece. It’s a combination you don’t find everyday, but it works very nicely.

  2. Each word chosen to brighten each line left me too longing for the sparkle in one pair of eyes.
I Love this poem. I share its breath and understand a bit better how to remove the fog and the chill by myself.
