A pinch of You~

i bleed, thirteenth street
round the corner

wet cobblestones,
the haberdasher
all speak un-syllabled

the forest fumes in the east

i drag my finger down your
lower lip, cold as hell
the jarrings of vertebrae

the way we kissed last night

you left me begging oxygen-
an empty-wombed moon

and umbrellas shoot up
i stem the flow,
pull down blinds-

you are but another token i wear

  1. “the way we kissed last night

    you left me begging oxygen-”

“you are but another token i wear”

This impresses me as passion without substance, another notch on a bedpost perhaps. Cold morning after hot night, written in a sort of disconnected way. Intriguing little piece, Mohana.
