I’m waiting for it be October again~

I’m waiting for it to be October again,
when you’ll come home with sunshine bright;
the skies will finally wipe all the rain.

Streetsides will throb with yellow vein,
weeds will bloom, splay brilliance on night
I’m waiting for it to be October again-

for autumn to declare her cinnamon reign
and swallows to flutter in wishful delight;
the skies will finally wipe all the rain.

I wonder if our first kiss will be insane,
taste salt, or caramel- my darling knight?
I’m waiting for it to be October again,

and I’ll become a song, warm joys retain
grow wings, and fly in the glowing light
the skies will finally wipe all the rain.

My heart will forget this gangrenous pain
when you’ll come home with sunshine bright.
I’m waiting for it to be October again,
for the skies to finally wipe all the rain.
